Rezz has once again thrilled us with the release of her latest album, "CAN YOU SEE ME?," now available everywhere via HypnoVizion Records. This highly anticipated project delves deep into the enigmatic realms of electronic dance and bass music, offering a raw and unfiltered expression of her artistic vision.
Crafted in Rezz's Toronto home studio, "CAN YOU SEE ME?" marks a departure from the usual midtempo signature, showcasing her bold experimentation and innovation. Breaking free from the constraints of conventional music genres, each track defies expectations by skewing typical structure and tempo. Taking a daring leap, she fluctuates between 100-150 BPM across 10 tracks, each infused with heavy beats, haunting melodies, and ethereal soundscapes.
This album comes with Rezz’s most collaborative effort to date, featuring previously released tracks with Subtronics, Blanke, and HOLLY, as well as exciting new collaborations and contributions from established names on the HypnoVizion roster such as EDDIE, Digital Ethos, and KAVARI. Additionally, it includes a special rendition of Rezz and deadmau5’s 2023 collaboration, ‘Infraliminal.’
Talking about the album, Rezz shares, “This album was by far the most fun I’ve had creating something, maybe ever. I tried to create a fuse between heavy bass music while also having industrial-type elements mixed in. I also wanted this project to include tracks you can just loop while you work out or when you’re in the zone. I suppose I'm just compiling my favorite elements of bass music into one project. This project would be nothing without its collaborations with some of my favorite bass music producers in the game. I enjoyed this so much that I will probably continue to make more of it. CAN YOU SEE ME? is my favorite project I’ve ever released.”
