DE'WAYNE returns with an electrifying new single titled "Synthesizer" today via Fearless Records. This latest release marks his first single since his 2022 album, "My Favorite Blue Jeans", following his collaboration with No Love for The Middle Child on the song '2am' in 2023. Hailing from Houston, Texas, the artist is renowned for his eclectic approach to music, skillfully weaving together diverse elements of pop, rock, and soul.
Straight from the press release, "Synthesizer" is unveiled as a heartfelt ode to friendship, drawing inspiration from The Commodores' timeless hit, "Brick House". The track aims to redefine the notion of a "synthesizer", infusing it with fresh allure and deeper significance. Describing it as a personal expression of affection for his closest confidant, DE'WAYNE acknowledges the ease of conveying emotions through music. In his own words, he shares, "Synthesizer is a love letter to my best friend. Sometimes, it’s easier to say these things in a song rather than in person. (...) I was inspired by The Commodores, who wrote ‘Brick House’ about the perfect woman – in their eyes."
