VTSS and Boys Noize have joined forces to create 'Steady Pace', a catchy and energetic track that combines house, disco and techno influences coming out today on all platforms via Big Beat Records.
The track is the result of a spontaneous studio session that they had at Skrillex's studio in Los Angeles, where VTSS and Boys Noize had an instant creative connection and came up with the idea for ‘Steady Pace.’
VTSS said that the track was inspired by the times when house and disco music were popular on the radio, but they wanted to add a more techno edge to it. The result is a groovy and pulsating tune that will make you want to dance all night long.
"The track was made during mine and Alex's [Boys Noize] session in LA in our friend's Sonny’s [Skrillex] studio," share VTSS about the collaboration. "It really came about quite quickly - within probably the first hour we had a sketch and I'd written the first verse. I haven't done much in studio collaborations so I was extremely nervous and frankly I didn't know Alex that well but we instantly clicked and have been great friends since."
The song is accompanied by a colorful and dynamic video directed by Claire Farin, featuring VTSS and Boys Noize vibing across different scenarios. Both of them are currently on the road, performing back-to-back sets and solo shows, and you can find more information on their social media.
