The Australian producer, Harley Edward Streten, also known as Flume, has just released another collection of unreleased songs titled "Arrived Anxious, Left Bored". The album comprises 10 tracks, all created between 2015 and 2021, that had never been released before.
The artist announced the album's release just days before a special performance in Los Angeles, marking the celebration of his 10-year career. This release follows the previous one, "Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan," leaving fans eagerly anticipating more.
Both compilations offer an intimate look into the artist's musical journey, revealing that the creative process is not always easy or straightforward. Flume shared that the tracks "never found a place to call home but deserved a place in the world." Here, Flume allows his listeners to experience his personal exploration in sounds, demonstrating that even the most talented artists face obstacles along the way.
By choosing to share his unfinished and experimental music, Flume not only provides a fantastic gift to his fans but also encourages other artists not to fear experimentation and to share their own creations, regardless of the final result. His open and authentic approach to musical creation has won over and inspired a new generation of fans and artists to be bolder in their creative journeys.
And mark your calendar: Flume is about to land in South America with new shows confirmed at the MITA Festival in Brazil! Performances are scheduled for May 27 in Rio de Janeiro and June 3 in São Paulo, offering all of us the opportunity to witness his talent live, presenting his greatest hits and perhaps even some surprises like these tracks from his latest compilations.
