QRTR presented her latest EP, "Music for Stealing To," this past Friday (February 3), now available on all digital platforms via Headroom Records.
The compilation features three tracks that showcase the DJ and producer's exceptional skill in creating and composing sounds—a unique talent that tells stories through beats, conveying diverse atmospheres in each of her productions.
The sound explored by the artist in this compilation takes listeners on a captivating journey, as if they were the main characters in an action film filled with compelling suspense.
In a social media post about this release, QRTR commented, "I wrote most of these tracks last summer and finalized them in the fall. Amidst tours and the life change from New York to starting anew somewhere else, I realized I was still making music that felt like the soundtrack to a heist film. I think I was trying to create a soundtrack for my own getaway without leaving a trace" (...) "I am very proud of this EP, and I hope it gives you the energy of a main character, just as it did for me."
"Music for Stealing To" is a psychedelic dream of a film in wave format. "again, but colder" and "roll credits" complement each other incredibly, making this journey truly memorable.
